RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We want you to live with your piece, not to settle for it. If something is not right, here is how we handle it.

About our garments

Every Yayavara piece is cut from a vintage silk sari that has already lived a life. Small irregularities in the weave, a thread that sits differently, a colour softened by time: these come from that first life. They are described on the product page and they are part of the piece, not defects.

Free exchange within 14 days

Not the right size, or not the right piece? You have 14 days from delivery to exchange it. Since every piece exists only once, an exchange means choosing another piece from the shop. We cover the return shipping and the new delivery. If the new piece costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, we refund it.

Refund within 14 days

You also have 14 days from delivery to return a piece for a refund. Return shipping is at your expense.

How to proceed

Write to hello@yayavaracreation.com with your order number, and tell us whether you would like an exchange or a refund. We reply within 48 hours with the return address and the instructions.

Condition

The piece must come back unworn, in its original condition, with the tags still attached and in its original packaging. A piece that has been worn cannot be accepted.

Once we receive it

Exchanges are sent within 3 working days. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of receiving the piece.

If a piece arrives faulty

Write to us within 14 days of delivery, with a photo. A manufacturing fault is ours to fix, and we cover everything: return, repair or replacement, or a full refund. This is separate from the exchange and refund terms above, and does not affect your statutory rights.

Delivery address

Please check your address carefully at checkout. If a parcel comes back to us because the address was wrong, the cost of reshipping is at your expense.
