This kimono was once a sari. Worn for a wedding, a ceremony, a sacred moment in the life of a woman we will never meet. Woven from 100% pure silk, embroidered by hand in India, she carried joy, colors, and intention through a life we can only imagine.
A rare, limited-edition garment that celebrates the heritage and beauty of traditional Indian textiles.

Garment measurements taken flat, in centimetres. As each piece is unique, a variation of 1 to 2 cm is possible.
Material and care
Outer · 100% vintage silk, from an upcycled Indian sari, hand-embroidered.
Cut in Tanu and Anju's family atelier in Rajasthan.
Care
Hand wash gently, or machine on a delicate or silk cycle. Cold water, 20°C maximum. No spin. Dry flat, away from direct light.
Dry cleaning is the safest route, and the one we recommend for the pieces lined in cotton velvet.
Never press directly on the embroidery. A steam iron on low heat is enough.
