This kimono coat was once a sari. Worn for a wedding, a ceremony, a sacred moment in the life of a woman we will never meet. Woven from 100% pure silk, embroidered in India, she carried joy, fire, and intention through a life we can only imagine. A rare, one-of-a-kind garment that celebrates the heritage and burning beauty of traditional Indian textiles.
This piece will never be made again. When she is gone, she is gone.

Material and care
Outer · 100% vintage silk, from an upcycled Indian sari, hand-embroidered.
Cut in Tanu and Anju's family atelier in Rajasthan.
Care
Hand wash gently, or machine on a delicate or silk cycle. Cold water, 20°C maximum. No spin. Dry flat, away from direct light.
Dry cleaning is the safest route, and the one we recommend for the pieces lined in cotton velvet.
Never press directly on the embroidery. A steam iron on low heat is enough.
