This kimono coat was once a sari — worn for a wedding, a ceremony, a sacred moment in the life of a woman we will never meet. Woven from 100% pure silk, embroidered in India, she carried joy, fire, and intention through a life we can only imagine. A rare, one-of-a-kind garment that celebrates the heritage and burning beauty of traditional Indian textiles.

Like all things of rare origin, she carries the subtle marks of her journey. No two are alike. None are perfect. That is precisely the point.

This sari has lived.

NOTE: On the front and back embroidery, you will find faint brown marks (check last pictures) — the kind that happen at a long table, during a celebration, somewhere in Rajasthan. They are not damage. They are memory. Barely visible unless you look for them, and invisible once the piece is worn.

We could have chosen a different sari. We chose this one because the embroidery was too extraordinary to leave behind — and because we believe a piece that has already been celebrated deserves to be celebrated again.
